The Prince of Wales's Own Regiment of Yorkshire initially wore the Yorkshire Brigade cap badge before adopting the White Horse above a mount inscribed YORKSHIRE. This reproduction retains that distinctive regimental identity in raised silver-coloured detail.

Regimental History

Formed on 25 April 1958, the Prince of Wales's Own Regiment of Yorkshire united the West Yorkshire Regiment (The Prince of Wales's Own) and the East Yorkshire Regiment (The Duke of York's Own), both with origins in 1685. The regiment served in locations including Aden, Germany, Northern Ireland and Cyprus. In June 2006 it amalgamated with the Green Howards and the Duke of Wellington's Regiment to form the Yorkshire Regiment.

Product Features

White Horse of Hanover: distinctive regimental horse and YORKSHIRE inscription

Silver and black finish: raised silver-coloured badge detailing against a black base

Large-format 3D printing: made as a substantial display reproduction, not a small wearable metal badge

Commemorative display: a military emblem designed for presentation and wall display

Made to order: printed and finished in Leicestershire, UK

UK delivery included

Specifications

📐 Display Size
Height: 150 mm
Width: 250 mm
Thickness: 30 mm

Product Details

🎖️ Design: Prince of Wales's Own Regiment of Yorkshire White Horse of Hanover Cap Badge
🎨 Finish: 3D-printed silver-coloured raised badge detailing with a black base
🖼️ Display: Large-format commemorative military wall emblem
🏭 Manufacture: Made to order in Leicestershire
📦 Dispatch: Usually within 7–10 working days

Who Is It For?

A distinctive commemorative display for former Prince of Wales's Own Regiment of Yorkshire personnel, veterans, their families, military collectors and those wishing to mark a connection with the regiment.
