About Precision Military Emblems
I’m Lee, the person behind Precision Military Emblems.
I run the business myself here in Leicestershire, producing officially MOD-licensed British military cap badges and display pieces for veterans, serving personnel, families and collectors who value the history and identity represented by British military insignia.
I personally oversee each stage of the process, from researching and preparing a design, through the MOD approval process, to 3D printing, finishing and final presentation. Each piece is made to order, with close attention to regiment, crown period, badge pattern and historical detail.
The aim is simple: to produce something worthy of the history it represents, with the accuracy, detail and finish I would expect from a piece carrying that regiment or corps identity.
A Long-Standing Interest in Military History
My interest in the military goes back a long way. I grew up through Beavers, Cubs and Scouts and later joined the Army Cadets. I never went on to serve in the Armed Forces myself, but the interest in military history, regiments and insignia never left me.
There is also military service within my wider family, including previous generations, and I have close friends who served. That has always given me a great deal of respect for what regimental identity, badges and insignia can mean to the people who wore them.
My professional background is in electrical maintenance engineering, working with large CNC machinery. That technical background has a big influence on the way I approach Precision Military Emblems: methodically, with close attention to detail, accuracy and finish, and with very little tolerance for “near enough”.
Bringing those two sides together — a long-standing interest in military history and an engineering approach to precision — is really what sits behind Precision Military Emblems.

Built Around the Insignia, Not Mass Production
The work starts with the insignia itself. Crown type, regimental identity, proportions, colour separation and presentation all matter because they are part of what makes one badge historically distinct from another.
Modern precision 3D manufacturing makes it possible to reproduce fine detail consistently, while the final product remains a made-to-order display piece rather than anonymous warehouse stock. Quality and historical distinction take priority over rushing production.
