Celebrate the proud heritage of the Adjutant General's Corps (AGC) with this officially licensed Queen's Crown Cap Badge Display Piece. Formed in April 1992, the Adjutant General's Corps brought together specialist Army organisations responsible for personnel administration, military policing, detention, legal services and education. The British Army records its forming elements as the Royal Army Pay Corps, Corps of Royal Military Police, Military Provost Staff Corps, Royal Army Educational Corps, Army Legal Corps and staff clerks from the Royal Army Ordnance Corps.

This Queen's Crown version features the St Edward's Crown pattern associated with the reign of Queen Elizabeth II and represents the original crown pattern used by the Corps following its formation.

About the Adjutant General's Corps

The Adjutant General's Corps was formed in 1992 and today consists of four branches: Staff and Personnel Support, Provost, Educational and Training Services, and Army Legal Services. In 1993, clerks from the Army Catering Corps, Royal Pioneer Corps and Royal Corps of Transport joined the Staff and Personnel Support Branch following the formation of the Royal Logistic Corps.

About the Badge

The National Army Museum describes the Adjutant General's Corps cap badge as a lion surmounting a crown, surrounded by a laurel wreath, with the scroll below bearing the motto Animo et Fide (“With resolution and fidelity”). This Queen's Crown version uses the St Edward's Crown pattern associated with the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.
