Celebrate the heritage of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders with this officially licensed cap badge display piece. The regiment was formed in 1881 by the amalgamation of the 91st (Princess Louise's Argyllshire Highlanders) Regiment of Foot and the 93rd (Sutherland Highlanders) Regiment of Foot. In 2006 it became the 5th Battalion, The Royal Regiment of Scotland (5 SCOTS).

About the Badge
The badge brings together the heritage of the regiment's Argyll and Sutherland antecedents. Within a wreath of Scottish thistles is a circlet inscribed ARGYLL AND SUTHERLAND. At its centre is the interlaced and reversed L cypher of Princess Louise, flanked by the Boar's Head of Argyll and the Wild Cat, or Cat-a-Mountain, of Sutherland, with Princess Louise's coronet above.
