About the Regiment
Celebrate the proud heritage of The King's Royal Hussars (KRH) with this officially licensed cap badge. The regiment was formed in December 1992 by merging The Royal Hussars (Prince of Wales's Own) and the 14th/20th King's Hussars, continuing the traditions of the 10th, 11th, 14th and 20th Hussars.
The regiment is part of the Royal Armoured Corps and has served on operations including Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan. Its cap badge depicts the Prussian Eagle, an emblem inherited through the 14th Hussars and associated with Princess Frederica of Prussia.
