The regiment is part of the Royal Armoured Corps and has served in Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan and the Falkland Islands. The National Army Museum records a 1993 King's Royal Hussars other-ranks cap badge and describes the regiment's armoured service and deployments.
