About the Badge

This King’s Crown version reproduces The Life Guards’ regimental cap badge for the reign of King Charles III. The National Army Museum preserves Life Guards cap badges across different periods, including an other-ranks’ example from around 1958 and a sealed-pattern gilt-metal Life Guards cap badge sealed on 3 March 1953. The Life Guards’ regimental badge is distinct from the common Household Cavalry cap badge used on specified forms of headdress.
