About the Badge
This Queen’s Crown version reproduces The Life Guards’ regimental cap badge associated with the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. The National Army Museum preserves an other-ranks’ Life Guards cap badge from around 1958 and records a gilt-metal sealed-pattern Life Guards cap badge sealed on 3 March 1953. The Life Guards’ regimental badge is distinct from the common Household Cavalry cap badge used on specified forms of headdress.
