Official MOD-Licensed Military Display Piece

Celebrate the proud heritage of Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps with this officially licensed Queen's Crown cap badge display piece. Founded in 1902 and named in honour of Queen Alexandra — a Danish princess whose royal heritage is woven into the very design of the corps badge — the QARANC provided skilled military nursing care across conflicts from the Korean War through to the late twentieth century. Its members served with extraordinary dedication and compassion in some of the most demanding environments in the world.

This precision display piece faithfully reproduces the QARANC's distinctive Queen's Crown cap badge in authentic colours and is supplied with an integrated keyhole mount, ready to hang straight from the box.

About the Badge

The QARANC cap badge is rich in history, heavily influenced by the Danish heritage of its royal founder. At its centre sits the Cross of the Order of Dannebrog — a red and white cross chosen by Queen Alexandra in tribute to her Danish origins. At the very centre of the cross is a circular medallion bearing the letter A for Alexandra. The entire emblem is enclosed within an open laurel spray, a traditional military symbol of victory and honour. A scroll around the lower arms of the wreath carries the Latin motto Sub Cruce Candida — "Under the White Cross" — and a final scroll at the base displays the corps initials Q.A.R.A.N.C. The Queen's Crown sits at the top, reflecting the post-1953 design produced during the reign of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Frequently Asked Questions

At Precision Military Emblems, our military badges and emblems are produced using advanced precision 3D printing technology to create highly detailed reproductions of military insignia. Unlike many manufacturers who prioritise speed, we use refined print settings and slower production processes to minimise visible layer lines and maximise accuracy. Each badge is carefully finished and quality inspected to ensure exceptional detail, depth, and definition.

When choosing a 3D military display, it is important to consider the accuracy of the badge reproduction, the quality of the craftsmanship, and the materials used throughout the display. Look for highly detailed reproductions rather than mass-produced replicas. You should also ensure the manufacturer is authorised to reproduce military insignia where required. Precision Military Emblems operates under official Ministry of Defence (MOD) licensing where applicable, ensuring displays are produced responsibly and to a professional standard.

All Precision Military Emblems displays are individually made to order. Standard production lead times are typically 5–10 working days before dispatch. Because we use precision 3D printing with enhanced quality settings, production takes longer than many standard manufacturing methods. Once dispatched, UK orders are usually delivered within 1–3 working days. Tracking information is provided with every order.
