About the display
A large three-dimensional display interpretation of the Queen's Own Yeomanry (QOY) cap badge, produced in Leicestershire for wall display.
The Queen's Own Yeomanry is a light cavalry regiment of the Army Reserve within the Royal Armoured Corps. The present regiment was formed on 1 April 1971 from five historic yeomanry units drawn from the Midlands, northern England and south-west Scotland.
The badge is centred on the regiment's distinctive fox passant above the Queen's Own Yeomanry scroll. This display version is produced as a substantial 3D piece rather than as wearable insignia.
