About the Badge

The Royal Irish Regiment emblem is built around one of the most enduring symbols of Irish military identity: the harp surmounted by the Crown.

At its centre is the distinctive winged Maid of Erin-style harp, surrounded by an intricately detailed wreath of shamrock. Above sits the Queen's Crown, while flowing scrolls around the lower portion of the design proudly bear the title ROYAL IRISH REGIMENT.
