Royal Logistic Corps Queen's Crown Cap Badge Display Frame
Official MOD-Licensed Military Heritage Display Piece

Celebrate the proud heritage of the Royal Logistic Corps with this officially licensed Royal Logistic Corps Queen's Crown Cap Badge Display Frame.

Formed on 5 April 1993, the Royal Logistic Corps (RLC) brought together the Royal Corps of Transport, Royal Army Ordnance Corps, Royal Pioneer Corps, Army Catering Corps, and the Postal and Courier Service of the Royal Engineers to create the British Army's largest corps. Drawing upon the proud traditions and expertise of its predecessor organisations, the Royal Logistic Corps provides the vital logistic support that enables the British Army to live, move and fight. From transport and supply to ammunition, fuel, catering, postal services, port and maritime operations, movement control and explosive ordnance disposal, the Corps plays an essential role wherever British soldiers serve.

Beautifully presented in a premium deep shadow box frame, this display features a precision high-definition reproduction of the Royal Logistic Corps Queen's Crown cap badge, mounted against a hand made military corps coloured frame backing to create a lasting tribute to the Corps whose enduring motto proudly declares We Sustain.

About the Badge

The Royal Logistic Corps Queen's Crown cap badge was introduced when the Corps was formed in 1993 and uniquely combines elements inherited from each of its five forming organisations. The eight-pointed star and laurel wreath derive from the Royal Corps of Transport, while the Most Noble Order of the Garter reflects the heritage of the Royal Engineers. The crossed pioneer axes commemorate the Royal Pioneer Corps, and at the centre of the badge is the shield bearing the historic Arms of the Board of Ordnance — displaying three cannon and three cannonballs — inherited through the Royal Army Ordnance Corps.

Encircling the badge is the Garter bearing the historic motto Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense (“Shame on him who thinks evil of it”), while beneath the badge is the Corps motto We Sustain, inherited from the Army Catering Corps and reflecting the Royal Logistic Corps’ essential role in sustaining British Army operations around the world. Surmounting the badge is the Queen's Crown (St Edward's Crown), identifying this as the original cap badge pattern introduced following the formation of the Corps during the reign of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Frequently Asked Questions

At Precision Military Emblems, our military badges and emblems are produced using advanced precision 3D printing technology to create highly detailed reproductions of military insignia. Unlike many manufacturers who prioritise speed, we use refined print settings and slower production processes to minimise visible layer lines and maximise accuracy. Each badge is carefully finished and quality inspected to ensure exceptional detail, depth, and definition.

When choosing a 3D military display, it is important to consider the accuracy of the badge reproduction, the quality of the craftsmanship, and the materials used throughout the display. Look for highly detailed reproductions rather than mass-produced replicas. You should also ensure the manufacturer is authorised to reproduce military insignia where required. Precision Military Emblems operates under official Ministry of Defence (MOD) licensing where applicable, ensuring displays are produced responsibly and to a professional standard.

All Precision Military Emblems displays are individually made to order. Standard production lead times are typically 5–10 working days before dispatch. Because we use precision 3D printing with enhanced quality settings, production takes longer than many standard manufacturing methods. Once dispatched, UK orders are usually delivered within 1–3 working days. Tracking information is provided with every order.
