A Display for the Queen’s Crown Pattern

The Royal Marines’ Globe and Laurel is closely associated with the Corps’ service at sea and ashore. Its Gibraltar distinction recalls the capture of Gibraltar in 1704, while the Great Globe was awarded by King George IV in 1827. The Queen’s Crown version is identified by St Edward’s Crown, associated with the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.
