Celebrate the heritage of the Royal Monmouthshire Royal Engineers (Militia) with this officially licensed King's Crown Cap Badge Display Frame. The Royal Monmouthshire Royal Engineers (Militia) is a Reserve unit within the Corps of Royal Engineers. This display honours its place within the Army's engineering heritage. As part of the Royal Engineers family, its soldiers are known as Sappers.
This display features a precision reproduction of the regiment's King's Crown cap badge, presented within a premium deep box frame against a professionally pigment-printed regimental backing. The Royal Monmouthshire Royal Engineers (Militia) has a distinctive cap badge separate from the standard Royal Engineers cypher-and-Garter design. Regimental history records that Howard Everett, then Adjutant, designed the first R Mon RE(M) cap badge in 1938, drawing on Welsh militia traditions that included the Prince of Wales's feathers, coronet and Ich Dien. This display presents the regimental badge in its King's Crown form.
