About the Badge
The Staffordshire Regiment cap badge combines the Stafford Knot with the Prince of Wales's feathers rising from a coronet and the motto ICH DIEN (“I Serve”). The badge design was introduced in 1970 after the regiment had initially worn the Mercian Brigade badge following the 1959 amalgamation.
