About the Badge
Celebrate the heritage of The Royal Welsh with this officially licensed Cap Badge Display Frame. The Royal Welsh was formed in 2006 from the amalgamation of the Royal Welch Fusiliers and the Royal Regiment of Wales, bringing forward the regimental traditions of Wales. Members of the regiment are commonly described within the Army as Welsh Warriors.
This premium display presents a precision 3D printed full-colour badge reproduction based on the MOD-approved artwork against a professionally pigment-printed regimental backing within a deep box frame. The badge and backing are carefully hand mounted, with each finished display individually assembled in Leicestershire.
The Royal Welsh cap badge features the Prince of Wales's feathers emerging from a coronet above the motto Ich Dien (“I Serve”). The coronet is part of the Prince of Wales device rather than a separate Sovereign's Crown, so the badge does not change between King's Crown and Queen's Crown forms.
