About the Badge
A commemorative 3D-printed display of the Women's Royal Army Corps (WRAC) cap badge. The WRAC was formed in 1949 as the women's branch of the British Army; it was disbanded in 1992, when its remaining personnel were integrated into the Adjutant General's Corps.
The Women's Royal Army Corps cap badge features a lioness rampant within a laurel wreath, surmounted by the Royal Crown. The wreath and crown continue the badge tradition of the Auxiliary Territorial Service, while the lioness symbolises the service of women in the Army.
