About the Adjutant General's Corps
The Adjutant General's Corps was established on 6 April 1992 as part of a major reorganisation of the British Army's specialist support services. It combined the responsibilities of the Royal Army Pay Corps, Corps of Royal Military Police, Army Legal Corps, Army Catering Corps, and the Educational and Training Services Branch into a single corps responsible for delivering many of the Army's essential personnel support functions.
Today, the Corps provides expertise across personnel administration, military policing, legal services, educational and training support, and staff services, ensuring soldiers are supported throughout every stage of their military careers both at home and on operations worldwide.

The Adjutant General's Corps cap badge is one of the most distinctive in the British Army. It features the Royal Arms displayed upon a shield within a laurel wreath, surmounted by St Edward's Crown and the Royal Lion, symbolising service to the Sovereign and the authority of the Crown.
