About the Star

The Household Division Queen's Crown Star Badge is the formation emblem of the Household Division. It consists of an eight-pointed rayed silver star bearing a red circlet inscribed with the Division's motto Septem Juncta In Uno ("Seven Joined in One"). At its centre is the Queen's Crown (St Edward's Crown), identifying this as the pattern associated with the reign of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Unlike the individual cap badges worn by the regiments of the Household Division, the Household Division Star Badge represents the unity of the seven regiments that together form the Division and is closely associated with its ceremonial responsibilities.
