This Prince of Wales's Own Regiment of Yorkshire Cap Badge Display Frame is a complete, ready-to-hang commemorative display of the regiment's distinctive White Horse of Hanover. The raised silver-coloured 3D-printed badge, with its YORKSHIRE inscription on a black base, is carefully mounted with a professionally printed regimental presentation backing in a deep shadow-box frame.

The White Horse of Hanover

Formed in 1958 by amalgamating the West Yorkshire Regiment (The Prince of Wales's Own) and the East Yorkshire Regiment (The Duke of York's Own), the Prince of Wales's Own Regiment of Yorkshire brought together two traditions dating to 1685. The regiment initially wore the Yorkshire Brigade cap badge before adopting its distinctive White Horse of Hanover above the word YORKSHIRE. In 2006 it amalgamated with the Green Howards and Duke of Wellington's Regiment to form the Yorkshire Regiment.
