Royal Corps of Transport Cap Badge Display Frame
Official MOD-Licensed Military Heritage Display Piece

Celebrate the proud heritage of the Royal Corps of Transport with this officially licensed Royal Corps of Transport Cap Badge Display Frame.

Formed on 15 July 1965, the Royal Corps of Transport (RCT) brought together the transport responsibilities of the Royal Army Service Corps with the Transportation and Movements Service of the Royal Engineers, creating a single corps responsible for military transport and movement throughout the British Army. For almost three decades, the Corps played a vital role in supporting operations around the world, providing road, rail, sea and air transport, movement control, port operations, air dispatch and postal services before becoming one of the founding corps of the Royal Logistic Corps on 5 April 1993. The Corps motto, Nil Sine Labore (“Nothing Without Labour”), reflected the professionalism, dedication and reliability of those who kept the British Army moving wherever it served.

Beautifully presented in a premium deep shadow box frame, this display features a precision high-definition reproduction of the Royal Corps of Transport Queen's Crown cap badge, mounted against a hand made military corps coloured frame backing to create a lasting tribute to the Corps and all who served in it.

About the Badge

The Royal Corps of Transport Queen's Crown cap badge takes the form of an eight-pointed rayed star surmounted by the Queen's Crown (St Edward's Crown). At its centre is a gilt laurel wreath enclosing the Most Noble Order of the Garter, bearing the historic motto Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense (“Shame on him who thinks evil of it”). Within the Garter is the Royal Cypher EIIR of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, displayed on a red ground, while a scroll beneath bears the title ROYAL CORPS OF TRANSPORT.

As the Royal Corps of Transport existed entirely during the reign of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, from 15 July 1965 until its amalgamation into the Royal Logistic Corps on 5 April 1993, the Queen's Crown and EIIR Royal Cypher are the only Sovereign’s insignia historically associated with the Corps. The cap badge remains a lasting symbol of the Corps’ essential role in transporting personnel, equipment and supplies in support of British Army operations around the world.

Frequently Asked Questions

At Precision Military Emblems, our military badges and emblems are produced using advanced precision 3D printing technology to create highly detailed reproductions of military insignia. Unlike many manufacturers who prioritise speed, we use refined print settings and slower production processes to minimise visible layer lines and maximise accuracy. Each badge is carefully finished and quality inspected to ensure exceptional detail, depth, and definition.

When choosing a 3D military display, it is important to consider the accuracy of the badge reproduction, the quality of the craftsmanship, and the materials used throughout the display. Look for highly detailed reproductions rather than mass-produced replicas. You should also ensure the manufacturer is authorised to reproduce military insignia where required. Precision Military Emblems operates under official Ministry of Defence (MOD) licensing where applicable, ensuring displays are produced responsibly and to a professional standard.

All Precision Military Emblems displays are individually made to order. Standard production lead times are typically 5–10 working days before dispatch. Because we use precision 3D printing with enhanced quality settings, production takes longer than many standard manufacturing methods. Once dispatched, UK orders are usually delivered within 1–3 working days. Tracking information is provided with every order.
