About the Badge
Celebrate the heritage of the Royal Welch Fusiliers (RWF) with this officially licensed cap badge display piece. The infantry unit was formed in 1689, recruited primarily in North Wales, and was merged into The Royal Welsh in 2006.
This precision display piece has a full-colour Silk PLA finish based on the MOD-approved artwork and is supplied with an integrated keyhole mount, ready to hang straight from the box.
The Royal Welch Fusiliers cap badge takes the form of a flaming fusilier grenade. On the ball of the grenade is the Prince of Wales's device: three feathers behind a coronet with the motto Ich Dien (“I Serve”), surrounded by the regimental title. The design combines the regiment's fusilier identity with its long association with the Prince of Wales.
