About the Badge
Celebrate the heritage of the Scots Guards with this officially licensed cap badge display piece. The Scots Guards are one of the Foot Guards regiments of the Household Division, with a continuing role in operational service and ceremonial duties. The regiment was nicknamed the Kiddies by the older Grenadier and Coldstream Guards after joining the English establishment in 1686.
This precision display piece is finished in Scots Guards colour tones and supplied with an integrated keyhole mount, ready to hang straight from the box.
The Scots Guards cap badge is based on the Star of the Order of the Thistle. At its centre is a thistle within a circlet bearing the motto Nemo me impune lacessit (“No one provokes me with impunity”), giving the regiment one of the most recognisably Scottish badges in the Foot Guards.
