The Scots Guards are one of the Foot Guards regiments of the Household Division, combining operational service with ceremonial duties. The regiment was nicknamed the Kiddies by the older Grenadier and Coldstream Guards after joining the English establishment in 1686.

About the Badge
The Scots Guards cap badge is based on the Star of the Order of the Thistle. At its centre is a thistle within a circlet bearing the motto Nemo me impune lacessit, giving the regiment one of the most recognisably Scottish badges of the Foot Guards.
